Stuck on "11 of 12 files downloaded and verified"

Heya,
I've been wanting to try Ubuntu Touch for a few years and I just got my hands on a pixel 3a to put it on. I flashed the correct version of android 9, and it's booted into recovery mode as part of the installation process. It was going smoothly for a minute or two until it got stuck at "11 of 12 files downloaded and verified." I've left it for ~an hour now and I'm not sure if unplugging my phone or xkilling the installer will brick my phone or not. I am running Ubuntu MATE 25.04 on an intel+nvidia laptop. I can post pictures if needed.

I bit the bullet and xkilled UBports and it installed fine on my second attempt. ignore this post!

Otherwise, it make sense on the first UT install to check the three checkboxes (wipe, partionning and bootstrap)
