@kugiigi It currently defaults to that I think, but then the naming causes additional confusion, as it doesn't alert the casual user that 'here be dragons'.

I am thinking this might be causing unintended confusion... it seems people might be thinking that 'daily' means it is deemed suitable for daily usage, while in fact it means there are daily updates, since it is the development version.
Yes AFAIK it is the development and it is far less problematic than 20.04 on my device.
I just want to switch from dev to beta channel prior to 24.04 beta 2. but it seems to only see daily in the updater on the device.
