@Vlad-Nirky I think we have stumbled on an anomaly here. I was leaning towards the 10x 4G, but apparently that is sold in China only, but gives an Indian variant......🤔

@MrT10001 Afaik, both are same, since twrp of 10x 4g works on note 9, codenames are same (merlin).
@Vlad-Nirky I will try the rom you gave tmrw mrng (its 12:00 AM here)
          Thanks for the response.

@MrT10001 are they mediatek phones. If yes then this will help you (beware that this works on only old xiaomi mediatek devices)

This doesn't work. it causes infinite bootloop part of the reason why is nv data is corrupted. Can rewriting nvdata with mauimeta fix it?. I'll try it.

                  Rewriting doesn't work.
It is now bricked except for engineering rom which is unusable except for testing purposes

@MrT10001 I can enter fastboot and flash images, but the images flashed from fb don't work. flashing via recovery mode (and only eng. rom) works.

@0xinit69 Can you try the latest available ROM for your device and flash it through fastboot?

I'll try my best to flash it manually, but I need your help regarding manual flashing.

Do you have two sockets for the SIM card?
If it is, only one should be occupied.
                                    Which provider do you use?
What was the exact Android version installed before UT (as UT use, through Halium, the Android drivers left in place during install process, it is very important to have the android version expected by the UT port) ?
The video linked is about to change IMEI, did you did this?
Did you used the initial IMEI provided by the phone?
You may know that changing IMEI is illegal in many countries.

Yep, and i wrote only sim2 and inserted only one sim in sim2
I use a local BSNL provider (the modem and frequencies are different in india so i couldn't get it working in global firmware)
                                      Android 12
Yep, i used the initial imei linked, i have the original imei values (i knew i would mess it up so i took a photo before flashing UT)
And no, i didn't change IMEI....
the root cause is simple, the global frequencies are different and indian ones are different, hence since i flashed the global frequencies, i couldn't get it working.
                                      Thanks for the reply....

Well, it could explain the failure.
The UT port is based on Halium 11.
So the Android version, before UT install, should be Android 11.

                                        d8bca01c-cb3e-45e8-b54d-fd73e49f254f-image.png

Consider flash to Android 11 again and retry the UT installer.
