I am wondering if anyone tried to run those apps on Waydroid.

The Trade Republic app seems to require microg but I found people saying it works on GrapheneOS for example after installing microg.

The Revolut app seems to be the main blocker for a friend of mine to try UT. No idea about the specific requirements, but it seems like you need it to validate webclient access, so the web-wrapper available at the Open-store will not work without somehow running the Android app either.

        Thanks for the help.

Fairphone 5 (Not yet installed UT on it though)

@poVoq I just tried now with the apk pure Revolut install. It installs but immediately says the device is not secure and will not start.

@RJDan Is there a way to give to the app the impression this is a regular android device ?

              Hi everyone,

Only for nerds: Unfortunately, the hack was provided for LineageOS, but maybe someone can convert it for UT. πŸ˜‰

However, I am more in favor of banks taking action and finally offering apps for open operating systems so that security is not left solely to the tech giants and their external security companies. I believe that we as customers have a say in this and should be able to register our smartphones with their operating systems, including rooted devices, in our bank contracts or accounts under β€œPersonal Data” (My Account).

              Greetings
              Mario
