I used the UBports installer to install UT on a Pixel 3AXL. I can't remember now if it was downgraded to Android 9, but I feel it must have been, as everything worked fine.

I then flashed Droidian on the device, and that seems to work fine too.

Worried that I've missed something, I looked into installing Factory Android 9, but the online Android Flash Tool, while recognizing the Pixel is connected via usb, cannot seem to connect with it.

My question here is, do I really need to revert to Android 9 between Linux OS installs? If so, how does one go to Android 9 from, for example, Droidian or UT?

        Thanks!

@theprivacydad Yes, it will put partitioning back to stock and various other things is a requirement for UT to work.

@MrT10001 Thank you. What's the easiest way to do this? The Android Flash Tool doesn't seem to recognize a device that doesn't already have Android on it.
