Device not match image (20888) error in MSMDownload

I was able to successfully install the Qualcomm driver and am trying to flash OxygenOS 10.5.7 using the MSMDownload tool included with the image file from the UT website. MSMDownload says my device is connected in EDL mode but when I click start it runs for 6 seconds and gives me the error "Device not match image (20888)". I tried using different cables and USB ports. The computer I'm using does not have USB-A ports only USB-C but I'm using a USB-C to USB-C cable. I downloaded the global version (I'm in the US) and I believe this is a T-mobile model.
Any advice?
