Why so few Intel chip based phones are supported by UT? Aren't those more compatible? Just curious.

@tigermoth Not aware of any such phones, do you have examples?

@tigermoth Aside from the Asus phone from a decade ago what are intel phones? πŸ˜…

Also, it's not just about UT, the underlying software stack needs to support them first.

@arubislander Just a thought. Asus has some with Atom chips. If I were a developer I'd rather try to work on a touch friendly Linux version to fit into the mobile phones. So the uniformity remains. To do so I presume Intel chips are more compayible to work with.

Btw is Pixel 3a no longer supported? i just bought one and installed UT.

@tigermoth said in UT not supporting Intel chip based phones?:

is Pixel 3a no longer supported?

Its previous maintainer has moved on, but there is a chance of a new maintainer bringing it back into the fold. Someone has expressed a willingness to try, but I don't want to name them because that might put pressure on them.

                Is currently using an Op5t
Also owns an Op1, a BQ E4.5 and an Xperia X, as well as a BQ tablet and a Pinetab2. Please, someone... make it stop.
