-
Anyone knows how to set the variables PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH to successfully launch
libreoffice(orsoffice) from the command line in terminal?libertine-launch libreofficecreates some issues.Seems that the packages
libreoffice-java-common default-jreare required, but not installed by the meta packaelibreofficewhich seems to installlibreoffice-core. The issue is thatsofficeandjavaldxdoes not seem to find all libraries needed, including the java installationdefault-jre. Cannot openuno.inifile.Does one have to create any directories and files?
It is assumed that whenever a desktop app is installed in libertine container
noblethat it can find all its dependencies and is able to work as expected. LibreOffice is probably the number one desktop application one would think about using with libertine. If anyone has a clue about a
libreoffice-launcherthat openslibreofficeit would be great to share it.gimpandinkscapeboth launch in libertine using the desktop mode. For reference, the software channel used is24.04/daily(noble) on a Fairphone 4. -
Since you're on Noble, you can use snap to install these apps. They work well(-ish) and runs on wayland. They won't have the onscreen keyboard though which libertine might have.
