Remote Desktop app
-
Hi there
I am having some issues finding a proper remote desktop tool for Ubuntu Touch (20.4), does anyone have some advice for me? I want to use the phone as a "client" for a network project in school, remoting into it and showing that it still gets a DHCP address, and can access the internet when plugged into a L2 switch. -
@Pingu2400 I don't know if an RDP app exists, but there is an app for VNC (both, client and server). With this you can connect from or to the phone. Another option is to use SSH for remote connecting.

@kristatos Yeah, SSH was the next thing I was thinking of doing - a remote app would be simpler for my initial purpose though ^^

If I understand it correctly, you want to connect to the UT device remotely? Via RDP or VNC?
There's an app called MirVNCServer. it works but don't expect it to work well especially with input.
For the other way around, there's CuteVNC. Again don't expect full features. -
@kugiigi Thank you, will check it out ^^
