Minimalist Lomiri installation?
-
Hi there,
i am currently looking at a hobby project of mine - an eink-reader running linux.
It will probably run on a SBC - Radxa Zero3W to be specific.And for software i am planning a minimal desktop running lomiri and some flatpaks for the software.
Now i have been looking a little which distributions support lomiri - and so far didn't find find a minimal install (currently testing with virt-manager): unity is about 6GB - on Alpine it looks like its not stable (not yet tested - but it is in the testing repository), Manjaro - it seems to be dead, PostmarketOS i couldn't get to run yet in a VM.
That is what i tested so far.But as there seem to be some people here using lomiri: what would you suggest for a minimal installation (in terms of size and programms) where lomiri can be installed without much hassle?

@kaktux Hi,
A lot of effort has been made to upstream Lomiri to Debian.
So I think it may be the way to go for you.The following command is to use on Debian Sid/Trixie:
apt install lomiri lomiri-desktop-session lightdmSource: https://ubports.com/lomiri
