      Hi @MrT10001,

      @MrT10001 said:

      Just tested and VoLTE is picked up and seems to be working. My 5G SIM is in use so I cannot test that yet.

      With 5G, VoNR is used for phone calls as a so-called standalone implementation.

      However, the 5G NR standard also has a non-standalone implementation, which is responsible for the use of VoLTE. Therefore, I think it should also be possible to use VoLTE with a 5G SIM card.

      However, not all mobile network operators may offer non-standalone implementation.

      Greetings
      Mario

          There is a bug with the Nothing Phone (1) "spacewar" where SIM1 is not detected. This is NOT a Ubuntu Touch issue and looks like it is hardware related. On Android it shows as "SIM 1 is not allowed", on Ubuntu Touch SIM 1 is not detected at all. This only happens on some devices. SIM 2 works fine and has full data, VoLTE and 5G. See Reddit posts, XDA Developers and I have two devices suffering the same fate. This is not a bug, more an unpleasant surprise.

            Weird.
            I've put my SIM in slot1 and it works.
            I've only two options in the installer: 24.04-1.x daily and 24.04-2.x daily (no stable one).

              @Vlad-Nirky Yeah, there is only daily at the moment. I have researched this issue and albeit not common, it is there and something to be aware of.

                Okay, okay, okay. I couldn't resist that sexy, sexy backside. I have one coming in the mail.

                Is currently using an Op5t
                Also owns an Op1, a BQ E4.5, an Xperia X, a Nothing Phone 1, and a Rabbit R1 as well as a BQ tablet and a Pinetab2. Please, someone... make it stop.

                  @Moem
                  A really nice phone โ€“ fast (both in use and when charging) โ€“ and it has wireless charging too.
                  There are still a few bugs with the vibrator, and the fingerprint reader isnโ€™t working (sigh).
                  And, as you said, itโ€™s got a look all of its own.

                        @libremax I tried and failed to install UT on a NP1 with NotingOs 3.2 on it. Enabled oem unlocking, unlocked bootloader, enabled usb debugging, disabled automatic updates. The installer recognized the phone and gave me an error after trying to erase userdata partition:
                        Error: fastboot:erase: Error: erasing failed: Error: {"error":{"code" :1, "cmd" : "fastboot erase userdata"}, "stderr" : "< waiting for any device >\n******* Did you mean to fastboot format this ext4 partition?\nErasing 'userdata'
                        followed by:
                        FAILED (remote: 'Erase of userdata is not allowed in snapshotted state')\nfastboot: error: command failed"}
                        what can I do here? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

                          oooops, I resolved this myself. I someone stumbles on this error you can try the following comand while the phone is in bootloader mode:
                          fastboot snapshot-update cancel
                          and then run the installer again. this worked for me.
