@arubislander do you know how to use the cursor keys in the terminal? These command keys do not appear in the virtual keyboard. Thank you.
-
cursor keys:
option 1: use the hamburger menu and select scr, then scroll to the right you'll find arrows
option 2: touch the screen, press and move gently your finger right/left -
@Kadafi OK, so it doesn't seem to be a case of wrong permissions for the Picture folder itself. Could you also do a:
ls -lh ~/Pictures/and in e again post the results?

@arubislander
Here it is:
drwxrwxr-x 2 phablet phablete 4.0K mar 20 00:00 camera.ubports
drwxrwxr-x 2 phablet phablete 4.0K mar 25 18:16 Screenshots -
@Kadafi how can your Screenshot folder be from the future?
-
@arubislander no ideia! It is what appears! I checked the data in the phone and it is the correct one.
-
@Kadafi that is all very strange.

Is it worth considering starting again?
Installing the correct Fairphone Andriod version listed on the ubuntu-touch website and following the install procedures for 24.04 stable?
I have none of the issue you mentioned in your multiple threads with my fp5.
The only outstanding issue is the fingerprint reader for me at the moment on stable. -
@sixwheeledbeast since i stop using windows, i tend not to follow the path of "reformat and reinstall". Also, i had already an updated and that should also had overwrite the original install. Also, on the first time, i did reinstall 3 times (no cable issues and no hardware issues).

since a doubt has been expressed on the Android version, could you give us the return in the terminal of
getprop | grep vndk
to see what's the previous Android version ?
