Battery draining after update to 24.04-1.2

After the update to 24.04-1.2 the phone from one and half to two days, without charge, now it hardly stays 12 hours.
This is way too low.
Can somebody help?

I used top -o %CPU command, that suggested in another thread of the forum and I realize that whatsnew app which suppose to be the upgrade of whatsapp web app is consuming all the battery I am just waiting to test it for a full day and I will let you know tomorrow.PS yes the icon of the new app is X11 icon.

@smobilesoft, the issue is that those apps keep running in the background and are not properly suspended when no longer in the foreground. They even keep running when the screen is off.
Normally apps are suspended when they don't have focus, or the screen is turned off, which helps conserve battery.
Although, to be fair the creator of the WhatsNew app has taken measure to suspend the app when it looses focus as well. So something else must be going on there.
