Xonotic for ubuntu touch, help me develop and/or test
-

I don't have space to build and test, the clickable docker container is too large for my system, if possible, please contribute to this project on the link above, or test and send screenshots. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks. This is an ambitious and difficult project but will be very rewarding to the community. -
What does the app do?
-
@Moem Sorry if I was unclear, that was my bad, It's a port of Xonotic (the open-source arena shooter built on the darkplaces engine) to Ubuntu Touch. The goal is a fully playable mobile version with a landscape layout and on-screen touch controls (movement joystick, swipe-to-look, fire/jump buttons etc.) built directly into the engine's input handling.
It's still early — I've got the architecture sorted for the touch controls, but I can't currently build/test it myself, I don't have ubuntu touch device. If anyone would be willing to test this app on a real device (especially ARM64), that would be hugely appreciated. Repo's here: https://github.com/dixonSolutions/Xonotic-Ubuntu-Touch-App -
@ratITjiji Never heard of it, so thanks for explaining! I'm sure that this will also help you find testers.
Best of luck! -
@Moem thank you so much, it is very new, I created it, I wish you best of luck as well
