        Hey guys,

First of all, thank you for keeping this project alive.

I'm trying to install Unity8 on my Ubuntu 18.04, but I'm not 100% sure on how to do it.

The GitHub repo says "See CODING for build instructions". But the "CODING" says to download from Baazar, which I'm not sure it has the most up-to-date code as the official project is on GitHub (right?).

So, has "CODING" file the most up-to-date info?

Sorry for a bit of off-topic, but for those who are not that involved into development - are you now talking about installing Unity8 on a regular desktop Ubuntu 18.04 or have you actually installed ubuntu 18.04 on an UT-enabled device?

@pglushkov said in Installing steps (Ubuntu):

are you now talking about installing Unity8 on a regular desktop Ubuntu 18.04 or . . .

This thread discusses installing Unity8 on the desktop Ubuntu 18.04.

Unless you are extremely eager to test Unity8 on Ubuntu 18.04 (and maybe you are), I recommend waiting a while (at least a few weeks, but probably longer) before attempting to install Unity8 on Ubuntu 18.04.

You can find more information posted in the thread entitled "18.04 desktop - getting it working again" of this forum.

@pglushkov there's also a brand-new project to port UT to Raspberry Pi https://github.com/ubports/raspberry-pi/issues
