ubp-5.1.1 is the ubports own Ubuntu touch android tree based on Cyanogenmod 12.1, the reason why we have choose to base the tree on Cyanogenmod instead of AOSP (what the official Ubuntu touch android tree is based on) is to make the support for different devices much wider.
