How to run 2 instances of the same app at the same time
-
Sometimes I need to run the same app two times at the same time. For example, application Tweet doeas not allow to work with multiple Twitter accounts. I don't want to log out and then again log in with another Twitter profile. So I need to run two instances of Tweet app at the same time - one running with profile1 and second with profile2. Would it be possible in Ubuntu Touch?

Hi @tatonuta - I just did a quick search in the OpenStore: https://open-store.io/?sort=relevance&search=Twitter and it seems that there are a number of unofficial Twitter web apps. My guess is that you could download two different apps and run two instances: one from each...

@3arn0wl On 16.04 rc there is actually only one app that works. Yes, there are more Twitter (web)apps in the Open Store but only one works. Other do not work (perhaps because of the browser bug that is not solved in 16.04 rc).
So my question is still valid. Anyone have an answer to my original question?

The answer, I am afraid, is no.
But, you could propose multiple account support as a feature request against the Twitter app. But as it is a web app, it might not be possible to do if the website itself does not support logging in to multiple accounts simultaneously. -
@arubislander Thanks!
