          @debacle Usually you can change the maximum amperage during the charging. At least you can do with the original PinePhone.

          In the pinephone, the pmic (axp803) default is a limit of 1.5A from usb for charging. But you can change it:

          # echo 2500000 > /sys/class/power_supply/axp813-ac/input_current_limit # 2.5A

          May be it's possible to increase on the PPP too.
