Recovery mode meizu mx4 Ubuntu Edition
@jenkins47300 You can't put it in recovery mode?. Is your phone Meizu MX4 with Ubuntu Phone?
Yes MX4 with ubuntu
@jenkins47300 I do not know how to explain it to you. I first put my phone in developer mode (system configuration/about this device).
Connect the phone to the computer and power on + volume up (you are in fastboot now) and select recovery mode.
You may not see any change. Install adb and check that the mobile detects :
root@sku:/home/sku# adb devices
List of devices attached
Now you can open your Magic Device Tool.
When i start my phone with power on + volume up, i have a screen with a ubuntu logo and nothing else.
If i try to use Magic Device Tool or ubuntu-device-flash nothing append
I have no choise to select
any idea ?
@jenkins47300 Have you install all?
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-sdk-team/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-device-flash
sudo apt-get install phablet-tools
Do you check with adb to detect your mobile?
@jenkins47300 Only works from Ubuntu 16.04
Ok i will upgrade my 15.10
@jenkins47300 Ok. Luck!!
Bad luck for me, screen broken! end of the story with the meizu.
A new hope with a nexus 5. Waiting for the postal service.
@jenkins47300 Oh my God!!. I'm sorry. Good luck with Nexus 5.
