OPO after years with nexus 4 and 5. I finally switched because the N5 has power button issues that made it very problematic. Very happy with the OPO.
-
I am installing Ubuntu Touch into the OPO!
Excited to see how it works!!! -
@teigneux Ok, in fact, not so easy to install.
I am stuck both with windows 10 and osx with the installer.
The installer ask me to reboot to bootloader, that is what I did (Fastboot Mode is written on my black screen), and... and nothing appends...
I also have a ubuntu computer but without connexion. How to fixe that?
I searched since the beginning of the evening, but still stuck...
Thanks -
@teigneux With windows you need 15sec adb tools installed from xda developers also try lots of usb cables. I tried 4 before it went though. Also when it doe s start it take s some time so don't worry about that round about 20 mins if I remember correctly. You may also need to remove all other phone drivers if you have any installed ( I didn't though).

@lakotaubp Thank you!
I am trying and this time, I can see Flashing images in the UBports Installer.
At the same time, the phone did strange things like "optimazing the apps". I didn't touch. I am just waiting.
Wait and see... -
It works!
After a first trial, I have been trying again, and this time was the good!
Cool!
Thanks again all of you for your advices!!! -
@teigneux Well done. Enjoy.

Arg, everything works well, exept this little detail: the phone doesn't find any network (phone network). The sim card works: the pin code is ok.
Another little problem, due to the wifi mac address: it is not possible to join a wifi network which select devices depending of the mac address.

Have you you manually entered your APN settings for your phone service provider ?.
-
@teigneux Try toggling Flight mode on and off and restarting. Just so I have it straight your OPO picks up the sim card and you can unlock it?
-
@lakotaubp @Marathon2422 thanks for your help.
This morning, I tried several things like selected a provider in the APN settings, and then the phone was able to connect to a network.
So now it works well! Very cool!
Last think: it cannot receive mms without data on, which is also the case with my BQ E5. It worked with the Firefox OS and previously with Ubuntu Touch at the really beginning. Do you know why? With 50Mo per month, I use to let the data off, but in this case, I don't know if someone send to me a mms, no notification, nothing, nada...
