Oneplus One installation stuck on a spinning wheel

Hi!
I have just bought a OnePlus one, but unfortunately the ubports installer is stuck on a spinning wheel and oneplus is in fastboot mode. I installed adb, fastboot and I unlocked the bootloader. I am using macOS 10.14.3. Can anyone help me?

@imjcube Try here as well https://t.me/WelcomePlus it's our telegram install group. I think it's something to do with the installer not being in the right $path but I Know nothing about mac sorry, But someone will. IJust pinged someone who may be able to help.

HI, thanks for the quick reply. I also have a linux mint desktop so I tried it and the phone booted into recovery and the installer is downloading ubuntu touch. I hope it goes well!

@imjcube Let us know how it goes. the OPO works well on Ubuntu Touch but I'm biassed : )

@Lakotaubp after few minutes I noticed that gps isn't working. Any suggestions?

@imjcube It can take a while to locate properly. Check location is on Security and Privacy in System Settings. Then try uNav from the OpenStore and see if you get located. I have not had an issue with it.
Edit
If that doesn't work try toggling Flight Mode on and off. I'm currently on the development channel, System settings, updates, update settings, Development. Try down loading that and see if it fixes it. You can always move back again and the fix should stay -
Everything is on. When I try to navigate somewhere with uNav it says waiting for GPS signal

Yes, everything is on. I downloaded an update from the rc channel, it's installing now.

And everything else is ok, WiFi, mobile data etc.

Just checking with mine on 4g to see if it can find me. It can take sometime at first. Will check back later need to shoot for awhile.

@imjcube You could try. Mine has still not found me on 4g but that might be my location. Keep trying someone else my pop up with an answer. Back a bit later.

@Lakotaubp It didn't help. Perhaps my unit simply has broken gps. Tbf I use my apple watch for workouts and navigation anyways so it's not a big deal.

@imjcube keep trying I cant get mine to find me on the OPO back on WIFI now. Will try something else as a test. Can the weather app get your location?or another app that uses gps

@imjcube Still try my OPO. It works on nexus 5 again took 15 mins or so to locate. Will keep trying and report back.
