Will ubuntu touch work with HTC?

@Louies there are these two attempts https://github.com/Halium/projectmanagement/issues?utf8=✓&q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+htc to port Halium (first step needed before trying to port UT) but they aren't getting any action since a long time ago.
