@Lakotaubp Can you try tomorrow if 936 works again with the phone only? I am not sure we might have a creeping bug that is still inside. 930 already should have been fine....

@Flohack Yes no problem. Tried the one today 935 from the phone and it didn't work, needed the installer. Will post here the results.

@Flohack No it went straight to recovery again on the phone. Can anyone else confirm this as well
*Edit: This issue is for OPO on Dev update channel only

I've had the problem a few times the past couple weeks...just change channels in the update settings, then switch back to your original channel. problem solved.

@geekvine Was this on the dev channel for OPO? will edit my post to make this clear. That is where this issue is. When I tried your method it still would not install the latest dev update after changing channel to RC.

@Lakotaubp I'm on an N5, but i am on dev. switch to stable, go back to the update screen, let it refresh, go back to update settings, switch back to devel, then back to the update screen. works every time.

@geekvine Yes that works for other devices, but this thread is specifically for the OPO device which developed an issue round about Dev update 926. Thanks for your input anyway.

@agrucza Did 930 update on the phone or with the installer?

@Lakotaubp Sorry forgot to mention i had running the updates on the phone. Until i reached update 930 which i currently stuck on.

I will try to go to a newer version with the installer once i'm home from work.

@agrucza No that helps. The installer will work fine. You may get the adb error but just press the try again button.

@Lakotaubp & @Flohack : I was able to update to 937 with the installer. Thank you for your assistance. I will give it another try with onboard update as soon as a new version is available to let you know if on device update is working again.

                                  This update from @Flohack today

@OPO users, sory but the upgrader is still broken for devel channel, I am trying to fix this. Turns out that the partition table entry does not seem to be the problem. Also strange that it wont create any usable logs anymore...

So for now you will need to use the installer. We will keep you informed. Thanks for your patience.

I'm on 1+1 and got stuck at Recovery as above. I selected on a whim Android actions->Apply update and it installed fine.

@drennanelawar That might be useful and it was on Dev update channel ( I just want to double check). Will try it tomorrow with next update.

This issue may also be affecting the RC channel for OPO as well. If it is the fix fix using Android actions, Apply Update should work for you too.
A solution is still being worked on, and we will let you know as soon as it is available. Thank you once again for your patience.
