I'd like to know how make a map from OpenStreetMap.

Not sure what you're asking. I suppose you know about uNav? It's a navigation app for Ubuntu Touch based on OpenStreetMap.

@NeoTheThird This app allows you navigate offline. You may download the map of a country but it is very old and I'd like generate it from the information supplied by OpenStreeMap. I know it gives a file that allows you to make the files OSMScout uses.

@Cesar-Herrera I tried it some months ago and it crashed all the time. I think it was released but never developed further. Just a proof of concept, I believe.

@wgarcia I've tried to download the map of Spain, and there was an error. It was from jul 2015. I had a copy in a disk and I have used it. I have been able to follow a route from my home to anoher. Perhaps there is a problem downloading a map (not sure). The map is very old, but the size of the directory of spain is 983.5 MB. Very litle. However the app crashes frecuently. There is a lib: libosmscout. This app uses it. The explanation is in http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Libosmscout, but I don't know how to create the maps. The files that gives openstreetmap are *.osm and *.osm.pbf. With them you can make the map for OSMScout.
