Ubuntu Touch on Asus Zenfone 2

Hi,
i did not find any answer on this topic yet so here i am asking it.
is there any way i can install Ubuntu Touch on my Asus-Zenfone2 ze551ml?
i know the Ubuntu OS is pretty versatile but i don't find any guide that explain how to install it on my phone or if my phone is compatible with it.

Interesting, thanks for the link to the community ports in progress. My current Android device is in there but there is much to do still, I hope progress is done (unfortunately I don't have the tech know-how to help). It's unfortunate that UT runs on so few devices that we have to purchase 5-year old ones. Hopefully Librem5 and PinePhone will start to change that.

Yes, I'm aware of that topic and I follow it closely. My initial goal was to wait for its release with UT, but I couldn't wait so (after getting a N5 for free) I bought an OPO.

@normandc I use one as my DD but am also waiting for Pinephone as I guess are quite a few

Thanks for the links! I'll have a look at them and try to figure it out myself
