Forgot passcode!

Last time I used my device was about four months ago. I was required to add a passcode for some aspect of functionality I can't remember ("You must secure your device with a passcode in order to such 'n' such...). I didn't want to use a banking pin, so I created one on the spot. I have no idea what it was?!
My current goal is actually to revert to android so I can use it for travel digital painting (ubports options aren't the best at the moment). So if there's a solution that can involve reinstalling (which I have to look a tutorial up for), that works. But I'm worried that maybe that isn't even possible?
