        Hi,

I've just downloaded the OpenStore on my Meizu MX4 running OTA-15 and started to install a few apps. I'd like an app that would work with Whatsapp as so many of my friends use it. I've tried to convince them to install Telegram (with no luck so far!). I get a error message when I try to run LoquiIM (after entering my phone number) which says something about it failing because it is an old version. I can't get the exact wording as it disappears from the screen really quickly.

Am I the only person having problems with this, and any ideas?

        Thanks,
        Naomi

at the moment there are some problems with Loqui, but there are also some workaround solutions.
Join the telegram group of Loqui https://telegram.me/joinchat/BlpqfQk1L0l0PJTnM02yxQ and ask there if you want real time support.

Have you tried the web version of WhatsApp on your phone? https://web.whatsapp.com/

              VollaPhone22 (dual-boot of VollaOS and UT 20.04 OTA-5), Pocophone F1 (pmOS, edge)

@sven When I go to that webpage I get the message "Use WhatsApp on your phone to scan the code". I don't have WhatsApp on my phone to use to scan it?

@emanuele-sorce I've just tried to do that again, and it doesn't work 😞 I've just tried clicking on the link.

@sven Do I need to do it using another phone instead?

@happyzenith For web whatsapp not only you need another phone where you actually run whatsapp, but that phone has to be all the time connected to whatsapp...

@mihael Argh! That's a horrible workaround. Thanks for the info. though, I was beginning to think I had got completely confused. I'm going to have to work harder on getting others to install Telegram instead.

@happyzenith I use whatsapp under anbox. It works except for the sound, camera, attaching pictures.
