Pinephone Bluetooth will not turn off

Hi, I am using the latest build of UBports for Pinephone BH and cannot disable or switch off bluetooth either from a cold or warm boot. there are 2 places to turn off bluetooth, from the drop down notification area and in the settings, however the indicator remains and going back in the settings shows it switched on again. Is this a known issue and is there a 'manual' workaround?

@AdM You can stop it in Terminal but you need to do it again after a restart.
sudo service bluetooth stop
