Default volume settings, very low "alert"?

I came across this strange issue that voice navigation was too quiet compared to the music playing in PureMaps:
https://github.com/rinigus/pure-maps/issues/430And it turns out that on my OnePlus3 the default setting for the "alert" sounds (as found in uVolman) is only around 50% compared to something like 80% for multimedia.
That seems rather strange, and I am wondering why that is the case and if it could maybe be changed in the default settings so others would not have the same issue than me.
