        Hello all

This is my first post here today and I am pleased to say I am posting after a successful installation of ubports on a Nexus 5. I bought the phone off of ebay for the specific purpose of installing Ubports as i am sick of being spied on by google. Here in the UK things are getting out of hand with tracking so now is the time to say no more.

Now a little about the installation
        Installation host: Linux Mint 20
        Ubports version: 0.8.2
        Issues
I did have to boot into into fast boot twice as connection was lost to the phone during installation.

I just want to say a massive thank you to the team and community here. I am looking forward to seeing what I can do with a phone running a full Linux distro. As I learn how to use the features of the OS I would like to install Ubports on a more powerful up to date phone. If anyone has any recommendations regarding newer devices I am all ears.

I am pretty experienced with Linux. So it goes without saying I more than excited to think that I have a full Linux distro in my pocket. The possibilities are endless 🙂

Once again I can't thank the team at Ubports enough. I have made a small donation to the team today but for sure will be hoping to support the team with donations and feedback further going forward.

        Best regards one and all

        Cheers
