I've been having the same problem on my M10, also on N5. HTML5 works fine on other websites. I'm hoping OTA 2 will sort it out. I guessed BBC had updated it's software. A number of sites tell me to update my browser.

On the whole I am hoping for a fair few updates to the browser that will hopefully sort out these sort of issues.

@BrisPete your talking about OTA 2. Is there a timeline when OTA 2 will released?

@Stefan Any day now all being well. The release Candidate is out now and as long as no major bugs are reported should be soon - perhaps later today.

I also facing the same issue and I click the flash player option but still, it didn't remove. Does anyone solve this issue?
