Image of UbPorts in starting the device
-
When will be possible to have the Ubports image when starting the device?? It will be great to not see the Android one anymore. Thanks

@udengoogle
Someone has to do one for it (maybe you?), you can start from here (see this thread), and even, if one of those devices has same screen resolution as yours you can use its bootlogo.

@keneda Thanks for your answer. I will love to do it, but sorry I have not idea where to start.

@udengoogle The link given you by @thilov has all the info in it. So start there and come back here if you have any issues.

@lakotaubp I have just done it. I just wonder that will be great if it comes straight form the dev , like it does in my OPO, Remember that I am trying to use the OP 3T. thanks

@udengoogle I must admit I have never got round to doing this but keep meaning too. I have no idea if there are plans to build it into one of the updates or via the installer.

@udengoogle First i must say i didn't see your device is listed in the logo page, in first line
So bootlogo is ready for your device like you saw yourself.
Second, Ubuntu Touch is a community project, so not only core devs can improve it, and bootlogos are trivial enough for not being a priority for them, and be done by other members of comunity.
Now if you want your fresh installed new logo be part of the ubports ubuntu touch image for your device, you can ask it on a ticket on ubports git.
