Hi, I'm testing the port for Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo. Two of these devices got to me. I'm currently wondering how it could have happened that they both have the same MAC address of the WiFi adapter. Unfortunately, I didn't find out what MAC address the devices had when Android was in them... πŸ€”

          Hi,

we once had this bug also on the Oneplus One: Some Android systems generate a default MAC addy if they cannot determine the correct one at startup. And yes, I have the same too πŸ˜„ - OMG please file a bug at https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch and I need to take a look.

So all S3 users have the same MAC adress? :face_with_tears_of_joy:

According to this thread on XDA, it looks like the MAC address is stored in /efs/wifi/.mac.info.
Maybe this could help fix the problem.
