Hi, does anyone of you also experience that the device won´t switch off the screen after the configured timeout?

@flohack I have set the display to turn off after 30 seconds and there has been no problem yet.

          Well, "no problem"?

@x-dub said in After 30 days of use:

The display does not switch off immediately, but goes out unnaturally slowly.

@keneda I expressed myself in a wrong way... The display goes out unnaturally slowly only when the display is switched off with the button.

The display fading speed wont improve, the display driver is so slow with reacting on changes, it just takes its time. Also, it has only 64 brightness levels that are scaled onto 256 brightness levels in UT. So, that gives the impress its even more slow.

@flohack and I always believed it was intentional, to transfer a sense of calmness to the user... So for me it adds a certain charm to the device 🙂
