      Hi,
is there any way to install Anbox on Xiaomi Mi A2?
based on the procedure detailed on the below link it is not a supported device.
      https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/userguide/dailyuse/anbox.html#how-to-install

Is this this a definitive and up to date list?
I have now Ubuntu touch version 342

I still tried to run it with the "adb shell" and "anbox-tool install" commands and getting the following error:
      halium_arm64 is not supported (yet)

Thanks in advance for any support and help.

      Michele

@miky are you on the stable channel? The version number you posted is different for every device. The OS build date or number would be more helpful.

In the latest RC and dev builds, Anbox is now available for arm64. So you should be able to install it with anbox-tool, as long as you are using a recent build.

Devices: BQ e4.5, Fairphone 2, Fairphone 3, Lenovo X605, Pinephone, Moto Z2 Force

This is "old" version of anbox, new one will faster and more battery efficient. Can't wait to see final relaese and results of the team's work.

Re: Anbox on Xiaomi Mi A2
Luksus, Carlod, thank you both for your feed back.
Luksus, correct, I wan in the stable version channel and this is why it didn't work in the first place.
Carlod, i followed your link and procedures and successfully installed Anbox and F-droid, nevertheless i tried to install few apps(apk) and always getting the following error message.

Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_NO_MATCHING_ABIS: Failed to extract native libraries, res=-113]

... so no much use of Anbox so far.

@miky , did all work at the end for you ?
I was about to follow same github instructions, but first comment warns about battery impact and problem with apps, so I was not sure how satisfied you are at the end?
