Well, I'm back after the tragic loss of the FAJITA (the OnePlus 6T I had) in a Walmart. For a couple of weeks I lumbered on sadly with a moto e6 that I bought at the same Walmart (I still have my Nexus 4 but it wasn't getting all my calls and 3G ain't what it used to be here.)

So I discovered a nice website called Backmarket, where they make it a mission to sell refurbished phones (1 year vendor warranty, so, no complaints there) so I looked at the most supported devices, considered how addicting that OP6 was and decided to buy a OnePlus One.

WOW. It even changes the splash screen on boot. This feels like an "official" Ubuntu Phone. And I'll get calls again.

Now I think I am going to experiment with this weird moto e6 I have. It has a Snapdragon 435. So I am going to see what happens if I can unlock the bootloader and flash some stuff.

Nerd with UT on a OnePlus One. OnePlus 6T waiting in the wings for VoLTE.

It does, doesn't it. It's better than it has any right to be.
Rock on, brother/sister/sibling. Bacon forever. 🤘

          Is currently using an Op5t
Also owns an Op1, a BQ E4.5 and an Xperia X, as well as a BQ tablet and a Pinetab2. Please, someone... make it stop.

I have had this OnePlus 5 for years on Oxygen OS, the Lineage. I absolutely despise Googol and Appol, and their OSs.
When I first heard of the UT project years ago, I made it my mission to get a stable phone (Nexus 5) and daily drive it. The battery life wasn't great, and eventually I went back on Lineage.

Yesterday I heard that the OnePlus 5 made it into the installer. I went on that ASAP, and the experience is like none other. UT is an awesome OS.

Can't wait for my FxTech Pro 1x. That comes with UT as a first class OS, so I am more than ecstatic to support that venture.

@nocturn-adrift I must admit the OP5 is rapidly becoming my favorite UT device too. Pleased you are enjoying your UT experience, Long may it continue.

@lakotaubp The OP5 was/is a great device. IIRC there are like four different active maintainers on that right now. I was thinking of dumping it as soon as my Pro1x came, but their great, rapid focus and work has enabled me to think differently about it.

I will probably sell the Nexus to some Graphine obsessed person. But surely, I can't dump my trusted steed. I will keep two in my stable for sure.
