Galaxy S8 with GNU Linux from Samsung

I found this German article:

So Samsung is planing to release the Galaxy S8 with a Docking-station and with GNU Linux distributions.
That would be great if it is running with Ubuntu Touch. Maybe you can get in touch with Samsung? Or maybe it would be the same issue, like Librem Phone, without Android?
But the S8 with Ubuntu Touch would be a milestone, with high-powered hardware. I already have a S8 with Android and it's an amazing hardware with perfect camera, super display and very fast.... -
I have read the article (it's in German) and it says that they will provide an app (to be installed on their Android) which allows then the usage of different Linux version. This sounds like the Linux will run in some kind of container with an X11 display on an external monitor. IMHO this has nothing to do with running a Linux native on the hardware, I think.

It says: It falls back to the same kernel which the installed Android is using." Es greift auf den gleichen Kernel zurück, den das installierte Android verwendet"
Means it is still the Android Linux Kernel with the hardware modules, not a new Kernel.
But there is nothing written about a container. Why do you think so?
UBports is also using the Android Kernel and it's not a container. -
@WLBI Because, if you want to have a complete Linux inside the running Android, you need some chrooted system for it which perhaps provides the mentioned app. If you call it a container or not, is not so interesting here. It's just not a native Linux on the hardware, like the puri.sm wants to provide.

Sure, if it's used in an Android app, it's useless...
If it's only running inside an app, it's something like wine and not a real native system on the hardware. Let's see. Surprise...Edit: The HDMI dockingstation is quite cheap on Amazon 19,59 Euro and it would become a full PC.
