    rec works remotely, but not in local terminal

        The recording tool rec works perfectly if I ssh into my cosmo:

        rec a.wav rate 16k channels 1

        But when I run this in UBports' terminal app, I see:

        ALSA lib pcm_pulse.c:752:(pulse_prepare) Pulseaudio: Unable to create stream: Access denied
rec FAIL formats: can't open input    'default': snd_pcm_hw_params error: Input/output error

        (Similar problems with parec.)

        VollaPhone22 (dual-boot of VollaOS and UT 20.04 OTA-9), Pocophone F1 (pmOS, edge), FLX1 (Debian)

          There are still limitations in the terminal app. Not sure what reasons behind it though. You can work around this by connecting to itself via ssh.
