External Monitor Status Overview

During the last Ubuntu Touch Q&A sessions several options for connecting additional displays to a Ubuntu Touch device were presented. Is there an overview of which technologies are there and which ones are supported already? It would be great to have a status overview, possibly even with links to the development pages.
What comes to my mind are:
- Physical connectors
- HDMI
- DisplayPort
- USB
- Wireless displays
- Miracast
- Virtual displays
- DisplayLink (evdi)
It would be great if someone could clarify which of those options are already working on Ubuntu Touch and which ones are currently worked on. Maybe even add other options I didn't think of.
