Hey All, loaded my pixel 2 with OTA20 today, coming from lasted build of Android 9, I check the build numbers to be sure everything matched with the installer. Everything went smoothly with install. A few things are not working though.

      • power button does not turn off screen, locking
      • phone stays screen on all the time. Not matter what time limit is set and if screen is locked, manually thru menu (cause power button doesn't work) makes no difference
      • no control over screen brightness, slider does nothing.
      • no auto dimming but maybe that's not a feature?

@flohack ok. Ill maybe try the installation process again, maybe it was a glitch. I stopped using the device because the camera quit. Power button seems to work fine to turn it on and off. Who knows. I'll post the results.

@flohack I seem to be having the exact same problem as described by @ThunderKeep. The only difference is that the issues popped up about 24 hours after installation. I've tried factory resetting using the UBports recovery tool and I've tried re-installing Ubuntu touch using the UBports installer on my PC. Neither of these fixed the problem, which is weird since everything worked fine for a short while after installation.

This is an old thread about a previous version of Ubuntu Touch.
I guess it has something to do with how the installation is done.

I don't have this device, but my advice is to read the other threads in this category where people have trouble installing UT. You'll find useful information on how to prepare your device for installation.

Sometimes some device require specific steps such as deleting the existing partitions in TWRP or installing Android back and then trying again, ...

                  Best of luck.
