        @geoeducativa ,
        I have a doubt, if someone who really knows can clear it.
        when unpack boot.img
        these files are obtained

        boot.img-base
        boot.img-cmdline
        boot.img-pagesize
        boot.img-ramdisk.gz ----> ramdisk
        boot.img-zImage ----> kernel

        the kernel source code is inside that file: boot.img-zImage
        or boot.img-ramdisk.gz
        or even both, but the source code must be extracted from which file

                @geoeducativa said in extract the content of this file: boot.img-zImage -> kernel code:

                the kernel source code is inside that file: boot.img-zImage
                or boot.img-ramdisk.gz
                or even both, but the source code must be extracted from which file

                most definitely not. the source code has been used to generate this binary image. but there is no realistic way of going back to the source from the binary. you have to find the source elsewhere

                    I think I have found data boot and recovery. I don't think there is a vendor partition because the phone is to old to have one.
