@dpitti sorry for the late reply, I missed your message.
If you install the official MIUI, you'll find a sub-group of apps (unfortunately I don't remember the group name, but IIRC there are only 3 or 4 groups, so it won't take long to find it) which contains the FM radio app. It's preinstalled, you shouldn't need to download anything.

@mardy Don't stress I'm back on Lineage OS 19 now. I found your thread about the FM test a long time ago. I will buy a used Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 if I find something else. My Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 lost the imie when flashing, so I'll leave it like that for now. But thank you for your work for FM.

FYI : You can fix that IIRC so check out XDA Developers Forum and I am sure you will find a solution!

@nero355 My device is now running again but with Lineage OS. Can also make calls again where I'm happy. I'll probably get a Xiaomi for Ubuntu Touch again. First of all, I'll take it easy when it comes to FM radio and such.

Hello @mardy
Can you please clarify the status of Volla regarding FM ? Will it eventually be able to support the FM ?
Thanks -
@mardy with the last Devel Update works the FM Tuner out off the Box ( Miatool Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro ). The Porter have fix the FM Tuner

@mardy The Ukw radio for Ubuntu Touch seems to be set too high in sensitivity. There should be an option somewhere where you can change this. So some stations that are below the level do not run at all. I live in the countryside so it would be good to keep the squelch of the app as low as possible. I would recommend the value 10 if the app can do that.

Hello @mardy, the FM Radio App is one that I have received great value from. Unfortunately it does not work with Focal.
Do you still maintain it? If so, would it be possible to make a version that works on Focal too? Thank You for you work so far.
