Wifi issue

@mrt10001 I found your post after I posted mine. I'm flashing stable now and will switch back to rc when there is a new update
-
Guys can you pinpoint me on the version or day when this broke?
-
@flohack 8th January, I would probably have been on the RC channel. I see you have narrowed the bug down.
-
@flohack I had the issue with yesterdays rc-update
-
Help is on the way, we know the reason and are fixing it now
-
Please see https://forums.ubports.com/topic/7253/latest-devel-rc-images-are-messed-up - fix will be in tomorrow, but all users from all channels need to reinstall their device once.
-
@flohack I switched to devel some hours ago and it works. Waydroid runs aswell
-
Hi @Flohack , Just want to confirm that im also having this same issue on build 2022-01-29 Dev Release Builds. Thank you!
-
@samgabbay Did you fully reinstall with the installer?
-
@flohack Yep as it was a completely fresh install when i tested it. Need me to collect logs?
-
@samgabbay Humm did you check bootstrap option? It should not happen with that anymore, and others confirmed its fixed so...
-
@flohack Sorry for the late response, nevermind all is good on my end! Thanks!
-
Hello iam new to ubuntu touch ivhad switched to the dev version but my wifi stop working i see that the issue was fixed i reinstalled from the ubport installer but still no luck any ideal
-
@new2port Try the release channel.
-
@mrt10001 thanks that worked out perfect
-
@new2port Good Stuff! I had the same issue and moving to the release channel fixed it. On other devices, sometimes lose SIM card detection and switching to the release channel did the trick.
Just keep an eye on the battery, it can drain very quickly compared to Android.

@tobsend
there is a similar problem with the Xperia X. Randomly losing Wifi. I thought I should mention this, perhaps the problems are related.
