Lineage 16.0 for Cooler
-
I could try to help, but I would need a guide. I have (largely outdated) experience compiling kernels for pc.
-
@rapto That sounds awesome. Maybe we could make a work group. I never compiled a kernel (once for my laptop), @mardy that has experience and you. Maybe we can get more people around

@arubislander I know you are interested in this matter as well

Hi guys
It's me Jose (jmpfbmx)
I have registered today and I hope that i can help you doing UTThe sources where i am developing and used for building LineageOS15.1 for M10HD are these:
- Device tree: https://github.com/bq-mtk/android_device_bq_freezerhd
- Kernel source: https://github.com/bq-mtk/android_kernel_bq_freezerhd
- Vendor blobs: https://github.com/bq-mtk/android_vendor_bq_freezerhd
As the ODM that bq used didn't provide connectivity modules, the fix I gave was using prebuilt modules from Stock Oreo ROM, i am not sure if that will work at Ubuntu Touch
Thanks
Regards Jose -

Since I now have one of these neat tablets, I have a new interest in this. Any news?

-
@moem I have this tablet. I've always found it great. It has done me great service even though I don't use it now. If it could be saved for focal by I don't know what magic trick (or magician(s)), that would be great indeed.

It would! I'm not expecting it, but yes, it would be wonderful. We can dream!
