I strugled today to make this patch work https://github.com/JamiKettunen/unity8-notch-hax/pull/8 because this pull request is not exactly what I wanted. All I managed to obtain was half of the icons (gsm signal and wifi) from top bar to be visible beneath the notch by altering the diff. Maybe someone with more experience can help to align the icons to the bottom of the bar instead of centerscreenshot20220323_230654346.png

I've edited the diff-file for my volla (non x), so that the top bar has a greater height and the items are placed in a row underneath the notch. This way you're loosing some displaysize, but the indicators are always visible.

@kristatos that is what I did also but the icons are centered in vertical position and I could not figure out how to align them to bottom.

@marius-ciclistu Mine are aligned at the bottom. After the update from OTA-21 to OTA-22 the configuration gets broken and I couldn't place them underneath the notch again. Something seems to be shaken because the original volla-hax didn't work either. So I flashed OTA-22 again with the installer to set everything back to default. After that I could successfully apply my configuration again.

@kristatos so Before I update, I must revert the patch, then update, then repatch. Interesting.

@kristatos if you go to the link from my first message, and scroll down , I explained there that the folder from .cache must be deleted if the patch gives an error. Maybe it is related to that.
