Block/unblock phone numbers
First of all i just want to say many thanks to ubports team and community for such great work on this project.
I was really surprised that 15.04 version is running so smoothly on my OP One.
Is there is any option to add unwanted phone numbers to the blacklist?
Somehow i cannot find this functionality in calls options.
If not then is there is any app that allows co create such list?
I think that i'm not the only one who is fed up with unwanted calls :)
Many thanks for the info.
Hi, no currently this is a non-existing feature I am afraid. Feel free to open an issue in https://github.com/ubports/dialer-app
Thanks for the hint.
If someone is interested in tracking this feature request just check this link below
I remember this being both asked and answered in the days of Ask Ubuntu. The answer the was that there is not as such anything in the os but there is a program called F-Call that can be installed that may help you out here. I have not installed it myself but was going to. A new feature in the os itself would be the answer though.
Ok i found this app http://f-call-dev.blogspot.com/
It's not based on gpl license and you have to send your IMEI number to get passcode for 10 Euro. Definitely that's better than noting but sharing IMEI with not trusted vendors it's not a good idea due to security reasons.
I still think that this basic feature should be available in UT out of the box.
I totally agrees, but hopefully by bringing something like this to the attention of the wider community and dev team, you never know it may be adopted and developed for our is. As like you say something in the settings (or even call settings) would be ideal.
