@marekf Can you install TWRP? If you can format the partitions through that. It looks like you have an issue with partition size.
If you can install TWRP and format the partitions, then install the correct stock ROM and try again.
I will say use a Windows PC and the Mi Flash tool to do this, making sure you DO NOT relock the bootloader. I have tried it on an Ubuntu machine and the Windows Mi Flash tool made it really easy and it worked.
(I have a Mi A2 and it was a bit finicky to get UT on, but I followed the instructions and used the Mi Flash tool to install the correct ROM.) -
