Camera quality
-
I recently switched from an older Meizu Pro 5 to a newer (still second hand) OP 5T. Very pleased with the phone and better in any way except for the camera picture quality.
What do you guys use as settings for the camera? - I currently use 16:9 (11.9MP) and High Quality as settings. But I get a lot of noise in the pictures. And, if I choose Fine Quality I cannot find a noticeable improvement. I also tried other resolutions and formats. I guess the problem is that no matter what picture quality setting I use (between Basic, Normal, High and Fine), the noise is the same - maybe it is stuck on Basic? But the size of the picture file saved changes though when I change the quality setting. And it is the same issue with the front camera.
Am I missing something?
I should mention that, while migrating from my old phone, I copied all the /home/phablet directory to the new phone, including .config, etc. I deleted all cache and config for the camera app using UT Tweak Tool - no difference.
Thanks for any input!

@mihael Hallo.
Have you noticed that the focus only works manually? Target the subject and tap the screen. I have the OP5t too, the photos are very good. -
@dosolly You know, that might be the problem! I will do more testing but already I thank you so much! Is this a known issue?

@mihael
No an issue, a missing feature. -
@applee I mean, there's nothing mentioned under https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device/cheeseburger/ - true, there's no category there for auto-focus... Maybe there should be one?

@mihael
Yes, that could be a good idea.
But I'm not sure if any device has autofocus working...
But that's not a feature I need as I always select my subject so get the exposition required.
