Halium vs renegade project
-
Which will have a better perspective in the future of getting things to work?
Would it be a wise thing for ubuntu touch to switch in the future?
Is there a difference on how secure these methods are? Is there a reason to question the security of halium anyway, just because it contains code that is not documented?
Do you think google will actively try to avoid such things as halium at some point?
What are your thoughts?

@fungie
Could you give a link to teach those of us that don't know what is renegade ? -
Its a community that started or has emerged around the porting of windows 10/11 onto the nokia lumia 950.
Now there are a handful of snapdragon (especially 845) devices supported.In my understanding the key was some sort of hack to get a uefi running on those chips. Also if i am right the drivers are reverse engineered or other known drivers were modified. I am not sure about the documentation of those.
The website also has a chapter dedicated to linux but it seems quite empty.
