Google Pixel 3a XL stops charging at 80%
-
Hi everyone,
Lately, I don't seem to be able to charge my battery above 80%. I don't think it was like this from the beginning. I'm pretty sure I was able to charge up to 100% when I got it and installed UT a few months ago.
I understand Google Pixel phones can stop charging at 80% under the following usage conditions:
- Continuous charge under high battery drain conditions, like gameplay.
- Continuous charge for four days or more.
However, I have not subjected it to these conditions, and I don't know if this only happens if it's running Android, or also with UT. Any experience with this?
Best regards

Did you install upower app from openstore ? -

Ok, you don't need to install this before sorting your issue. This app allow you on certain devices to auto stop charging when reaching a value user can set.
If you did nit install this app, that's not the origin of the issue.

@keneda Well, it might not have been the origin of the issue, but it did help me solve it. I saw the battery charge limit was set to 85%, so I increased it to 100%, rebooted, and now it charges to 100% perfectly. Thanks for your help!
